马来西亚陈式太极拳总会的创立可追溯至1994年6月19日。当日于吉隆坡富都路的“金陵酒家”，正式宣布成立“马来西亚陈式太极拳总会筹备委员会”。来自吉隆坡、雪兰莪、槟城、吉打、霹雳、吉兰丹及彭亨等地的代表齐聚一堂，共同见证这一重要历史时刻。
The establishment of the Malaysia Chen-Style Taijiquan Federation can be traced back to 19 June 1994. On that day, the Pro-Tem Committee was officially formed at “Jin Ling Restaurant” in Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur. Representatives from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Kedah, Perak, Kelantan, and Pahang gathered to witness this historic occasion.

Renowned Taijiquan master Zhu Tiancai from Chenjiagou, Henan Province, China, was present to witness the establishment, together with reporters and photographers from Sin Chew Daily. The meeting was chaired by veteran Taiji practitioner Mr. Ong Chun Ching, who emphasized the importance of forming a national federation, receiving unanimous support from all representatives.
会议随后推举李文剑先生为筹委会主席，王春清先生为秘书长，黄兆雄先生为财政。筹委成员包括林江平、丘士林、翁敦峰、郭亚才、廖谭胜与方思武等人。李文剑与王春清受委负责起草总会章程，并向社团注册局申请注册，为总会的正式成立奠定基础。
Mr. Lee Wen Kien was elected as Chairman of the Pro-Tem Committee, with Mr. Ong Chun Ching as Secretary-General and Mr. Ng Siew Hiong as Treasurer. Committee members included Lim Kong Peng, Khoo Su Lin, Ong Tun Fong, Kwek Ah Chye, Liew Tham Seng, and Fong Sze Mo. Mr. Lee Wen Kien and Mr. Ong Chun Ching were tasked with drafting the constitution and applying for registration with the Registrar of Societies.
经过近两年的努力与各界支持，总会终于于1996年5月18日获得马来西亚社团注册局正式批准（注册编号：3637/96 Pulau Pinang），标志着总会迈入合法化与制度化发展的新阶段。
After nearly two years of dedicated effort and strong support, the Federation was officially approved by the Registrar of Societies Malaysia on 18 May 1996 (Registration No.: 3637/96 Pulau Pinang), marking the beginning of a new phase of formal and structured development.
同年6月10日，筹备委员会于吉隆坡惹兰阿罗召开最后一次会议，由李文剑先生正式宣布“马来西亚陈式太极拳总会”成立，并宣告筹委会圆满完成使命后解散。随后召开第一届会员大会，选举产生1996至1998年度首届理事会，标志着总会正式步入规范化运作的轨道，并为全国发展奠定坚实基础。
On 10 June 1996, the Pro-Tem Committee held its final meeting at Jalan Alor, Kuala Lumpur, where Mr. Lee Wen Kien officially announced the establishment of the Federation and the dissolution of the committee. The first Annual General Meeting was subsequently held, and the inaugural committee (1996–1998) was elected. This marked the Federation’s transition into formal operations and laid a strong foundation for nationwide development.
宗旨与目标
Mission & Vision
1. 在全国范围内推广、组织及发展陈式太极拳运动，惠及各族群。
Promote, organize, and develop Chen-Style Taijiquan nationwide for the benefit of all communities.
2. 与所有陈式太极拳运动相关的国际组织建立长期良好关系与合作。
Establish long-term relationships and cooperation with international organizations related to Chen-Style Taijiquan.
3. 确保遴选会员、职员、教练及其他代表国家参与陈式太极拳运动者的程序对马来西亚各族群一视同仁、公正公开。
Ensure that the selection of members, officials, coaches, and representatives for national participation in Chen-Style Taijiquan is fair, open, and non-discriminatory to all races in Malaysia.
4. 代表马来西亚参与任何与陈式太极拳有关的比赛。
Represent Malaysia in competitions related to Chen-Style Taijiquan.
5. 确保所有经审计的账目连同有关本会前一个财政年度之所有活动、经费使用及支出报告，一并提呈予青年及体育部，以及根据该部要求所需的其他报告。
Ensure that all audited accounts, together with reports on activities, fund usage, and expenditures for the previous financial year, are submitted to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, along with any other required reports.
6. 确保全体会员遵守本会章程与规则。
Ensure that all members comply with the constitution and rules of the Association.
7. 所有筹款活动或为本会发展而设之商业活动，必须不违反国家法律。
Ensure that all fundraising and business activities carried out for the development of the Association comply with the laws of the country.
8. 本会任何商业交易或投资所得之财政收益，仅可用于本会宗旨与目标所规定的推广与发展用途。本条款并不禁止在善意下，支付会员或工作人员的薪资或开销，或两者兼而有之。本会亦可成立商业机构及拥有产业，唯所有利润须存入“总会财务基金”。
Ensure that all financial gains from business transactions or investments are used solely for the promotion and development of the Association in accordance with its aims and objectives. This does not prevent the payment of salaries or expenses, or both, to members or staff in good faith. The Association may establish business entities and own property, provided that all profits are deposited into the “Federation Financial Fund.”
9. 所有活动须在无性别、肤色、种族、宗教背景、语言、政治信仰或其他差异及信念歧视的原则下进行。
Ensure that all activities are conducted without discrimination based on gender, color, race, religion, language, political beliefs, or any other differences.
